Education and Experience:

Dr. von Plitt earned his doctorate in naturopathic medicine (ND) from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Prior to attending Naturopathic Medical School Dr. von Plitt earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California San Diego. Beyond his core education, he holds multiple certifications and has received additional training in modalities such as Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), Nasal Release Technique, Dermatology Clinical and Integrative Essentials training through Learn Skin, functional gastrointestinal care, and more.

Dr. von Plitt has experience working at Terrain Wellness with Dr. Dani Lockwood and Serene Care Clinic with Dr. Kamto Lee.  He also spent over two years working at Nutura Clinic in Portland, OR, which was formerly owned by Dr. Cathryn Morter, where he supported many of Dr. Morter's former patients with their health concerns, implementing muscle testing and Applied Kinesiology to help fine-tune their treatment and supplementation routines.

A dedicated practitioner of Tai Chi, Dr. von Plitt holds both advanced rank and coaching certificates in Traditional Chinese Martial Arts. His passion for these disciplines led him to create a YouTube channel featuring Tai Chi and Qigong instruction videos long before he became a Naturopathic Doctor.

Dr. von Plitt is also a lifelong Star Trek enthusiast and enjoys delving into audiobooks and science/medicine podcasts.
